Question marks in your life?
If I were a cartoon image and I’d have one of those cloud bubbles floating over my head – it’d be overflowing with question marks for sure! Or worse, the bubble would just burst with the question marks just flying around me not and no sign of them being resolved! That pretty much sums up my life right now.
So alright then – none of us know what the future holds. If we did, life won’t be this journey we are taking. There would be no learning, no mystery, no thrill and simply no reason. So I guess having these question marks bobbing around my head is good in a way.
But sometimes it takes a toll on us as we tend to lose ourself in the process of solving the answers. We get so messed up and confused. Have you ever felt that way? You are walking through this long passage, unlocking doors in every corner – hoping to find the answer as you walk into every room but it just leads to another door. It’s something like what Job experienced when he kept asking God for answers. Or like when we go for therapy. Everyone signs up with a therapist hoping to get answers to their questions where in turn all the therapist keeps doing is answering your questions with yet another question!!
Am I heading anywhere with this? You think I’m going to lead you somewhere to find your answers? No, because I myself am still on the lookout. The least but best advise I could give you is to open the Bible for the answers to all your questions. They wont be as direct as Wikipedia or Yahoo! Answers but God has gifted us with this amazing manual which we need to put into full use. No therapist or palm reader can give you any answers – only God can! Read his word and I will guarantee you that it will lead you to where your answers can be found. But don’t expect everything to be spoon fed to you, you’d have to work on your part too for God to do his bit. There is nothing better than turning to our Creator when question marks pop in our life.
So open the scriptures, read his word and ask him to bring full stops to your question marks in life. That bubble in your cartoon strip will then be full of wisdom and knowledge poured out from God.
