The Rainbow. Part II
My obsession with stars and rainbows don't seem to end. They speak to me.
Once again I was inspired by a rainbow on the way to work the other day. Yes, prior to that there was an unexpected storm. Guess the forecast went wrong somewhere.
But did it really? Maybe I should start reading storms differently. I need to look past the clouds. So as the rain recently poured down and the winds were howling through the window - I took a moment to just soak it all in. Storms happen. While they seem to cause mayhem, there is also something so captivating about them. The Power. Wrath. Anger. It also made me see the strength one has to walk through a storm. Strength we don't know is within us. The darkness makes us moody, dull & gloomy. It covers up the light. It's only walking through these storms in life that we reflect a light in us which is usually hidden. That's your rainbow.

I've learnt and am still learning how to cope through these storms. There are different types. While I battled my way through the sandstorms in Dubai (yes, like in MI4 - NOT!), I am now facing different types here down under. Managing the umbrella, scarf, bag, beanie, fingers through gloves etc has been a challenege enough for me as I got through my first winter. Jokes aside, don't have huge expectations hoping to see your rainbow. It may just be an inner talent, strength or emotion. And chances are, we may miss seeing it at times but it't that anchor of hope we hold on to during the storm hoping we see the rainbow.
This storm taught me to remain still, be calm, enjoy the unexpected wind & downpour. To be patient, keep believing and having faith. To be sure of seeing the brighter tomorrow. The light, it will shine. You'll see the rainbow soon.
