Believe Christ

Throughout my entire advent study, something my Dad always tells me has been pressing on my heart deeply. Humility. If there is one piece of advice he'd have to give anyone it would be to "Be Humble". And that clearly sums up my Christmas message this year.

Everyone is competing with one another. Who knows best. Who knows more. Making judgement calls. It's reaching an extent where people are on a constant trip to outshine God too. The need to understand and know everything has never been so high. Reading about the birth of Christ in the gospels of Mathew & Luke isn't enough. The Bible on the whole isn't enough. There have to be the millions of questions that follow. God literally had to come down to earth for people to believe but still - they just don't believe.

To truly celebrate Christmas, one should be able to fall on their knees daily knowing & believing that Christ holds their life. To understand the beauty of Christmas is to know he was born to die. Think about it - God sent his son to DIE for you. He who died on that cross and rose again paying the ultimate price for our sins is our savior and King today.

It's being vulnerable that's makes us recognize God for who he is. . Continuous hurdles and problems in life doesn't mean God doesn't hear your prayers. Life experiences doesn't mean you know what's best. Fall on your knees. Believe.

Practice humility. Take advice from the learned. Respect those who are called to serve Christ in their own ways. Empathize with the broken. Be a friend to the lost. Go the extra mile to help someone. Ask for help, it's ok. Humillity.

My Christmas prayer is that each of us aim at being better servants of Christ.

Living out the Christ like life on earth.

Realizing that the way up is down

The way forward is taking a few steps back.
Not being the best, the know it all or the first!

Jesus said: "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" - John 10:10

Jesus was born to die.
Born to take the worst fall of all.
Just for you and me.
So that we could have a full life.
Believe.

Have a Blessed Christmas!
Love,
Gino
