I've been thinking about.......

Cooking and experimenting new dishes!
Who would’ve thought Rozy & I could cook and not just eggs, sausages or noodles – but real food like Chicken with gravy and Stir Fried Beef, Pasta, Wraps etc! Yum! And it’s just like mom’s cooking which I miss. “In your face”, to all those people who told my mom “When will your children learn to cook!”

My morning walk!
In spite of the countless number of cabs that stop down my apartment in the morning – I always end up walking to work humming some of my fave tunes as they play on the I-pod! Ah! The joys of working in Sharjah!

Mamma and Dadda!
Not a day goes by I don’t think of my family in Australia and I’m on my third month running, away from mom & dad *hugs*. Miss them so much, hope I see them soon!

Ever ready helping hands!
I’m sure they know who they are! And I am especially grateful to those friends & aunts around who have been ever so helpful even when I don’t ask…much love to you!

Youth!
After the long summer break, we finally started meeting again every Friday! Gosh, how I missed it. Feels good to be back though – looking forward to the year ahead for all of us.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S
Need I say more on this one? Wow, hanging out with you guys was fun last week even though the racist DJ shushed us in the sports bar just for “talking”! Never knew talking in a restaurant was a crime.

Pink
I’m looking forward to wearing my “pink ribbon” badge this month and hope to raise some awareness to people who need it.

Softening my heart…
I’m finally coming close to forgiving someone who did something very hurtful. Even though its taken long, I know the Holy Spirit is working in me and softening my heart for this person. Do pray.

“Stick out your tongue” faces!
Showing funny faces to Montana & checking out Dad’s new outfit to beat the cold over Web Chat was crazy fun. What would we ever do without technology to catch up with those dear to us? *Hugs to Mon, Mich and Dennis *

Walk! Jog! Walk! Jog!
Brisk walking & jogging around the Sharjah creek with Rozy did bring about lots and lots of body pain but felt really fit later on. And shockingly, I think the weather has cooled down and is awesome for walking….best way to keep fit. Make use of what is around you.

Open book exams!
Madness! I never knew studying for an Open book exam would be tougher than studying for a normal one. It’s like studying to cheat in an exam…crazy weird if you ask me! Although this is certainly something I shouldn’t be complaining about!

Grey’s Anatomy
So I finally finished season 5 which was way too emotional, I shed a tear or two. It reminds us to not take life for granted because it is just way too short.

Cupcakes!
That’s something between Monica & me…I had to put it in there because it was hilarious!

Prayer
Wow! Saved the best for last. This is something I just started. Praying for random people I come across. Whether it’s the colleague who passes me in the corridor or to the supermarket delivery guy – it feels good to pray for those to whom no personal agendas are attached. I reckon you all try it if not done already.

Blessings to you all for the month ahead!
