Year End Stock Taking

All you can hear under everyone's breath in office is "It's year end" due to which there is utter chaos & panic if issues aren't dealt with before 2010 arrives! And anytime now, I too am gonna start taking my year end stock for 2009. Not only MNC's & banks need to evaluate their end of year status - you too should personally do it.

As for me - by now, you should know what a crazy year it’s been. Even though I haven’t started valuating myself yet, I’m quite eager to set a target for 2010. As I was watching the fireworks over Sydney Harbour Bridge welcome 2009 and wished everyone an “Aussie New year”, never did I imagine the year would be so life changing.

So basically, I make a list of all my spiritual achievements, challenges and failures and gather up how I was strong in certain situations & where I went wrong in some. At the end of it, I calculate my growth or fall the past year and jot down points on how I can improve in the following year.

I’ve been following this the past few years and reckon you all try it too, its much easier to stick to & sensible to follow rather than making impossible new year resolutions which everyone tends to forget after Jan 15th!

Happy Stock taking!
Gino..
